[sYs]tematically designed

I've been away for a long, long time now. Been busy and with things I don't even want to think of... But now, at least, I've got some stability in life and moneyz and I'm nicely equipped both in terms of visuals and sound. And so now I can finally try and get back to my proper life in SL.
To make up for the lost time I prepared something fresh and new. I'd like to present a shop which is among my most favourite. The ultimate futuristic and avantgarde fashion production center - [sYs] Design!

The store's interior is very adequate but nothing too fancy. I like the colours and I wasn't able to not find anything I looked for so it's overally proper. And the only crew member who is always present seems nice and adequate as well ^^.

But it's all about clothes and that's where [sYs] truly shines. I was so oh-my-gosh! when I finally managed to look through their stuff.

One might think this is just another cyber-wear store. Oh no, not at all! People at [sYs] are real artists. Their works are not just about quirky lights and latex-inspired materials. No fashionly justified tools of war here. No machine parts and no scripted animations. This is pure fashion - avantgarde retro futurism in its finest form.

Some of the products remind me of the works of Range Murata which I love from the bottom of my heart.
It's also important to have variety and it's also what we can find here. All from everyday to nighttime, casual and hardcore, clubbing, restaurant and swimming pool options included. You can dress up for almost every occasion.

There is a separate section for footwear and accessories and avatar components. And there is also one thing I'm particularly happy about: almost no manly fashion! That's how it's supposed to be ^^*.

[sYs] Design receives my highest recommendation. Now if only I was able to spend more money on clothes nowadays...

You can visit the store yourself by going here: [sYs] Design Mainstore

I am very sorry for not having time to write here recently. Real life is a bastard at times >_>.
But still there is good news. I bought myself some new devices and so from now on my photos will be of much higher quality and in HD resolution too. Ureshii wa ^^.

Also there is bad news. One awesome inworld shop I discovered just recently is closing down. It happens all the time - I know - and the owner has a very good reason for this. But still it's sad. Very sad. Now all I'm left is those photos made for Japanmade Festival and my own memories...
The products however are still available through SL marketplace. Be sure to check them out!

This happens to many of us. I'm renting a place. I've got a home. I've got my own bedroom ^^.
Of course it's not ideal yet and much has to be done. I'm low on prim number and I lack lindens (who doesn't?). But I'm a bit happy. At least.

I won't be giving you a link to my place. Well.. at least not yet ^_-. But I might advertise some stuff I bought for my home. And the home itself. So... expect more!

STILLform

My SLMarketplace shop is finally open!
The idea of STILLform (that's the name) is to merge everyday items with refined contemporary art. For now I sell 6 unique lamps which look nice and give off a nice five-color glow. The colors are named commonly but they are not as I did some careful tone choosing.

I truly hope at least some people will like them. Even if not it still was a lot of fun to make them ^^.

Space bunnies

I've been looking for a house recently and stumbled upon a very interesting shop. Designed as a spaceship occupied by evil bunnies (that's enough for me to love it ^^*) it belongs to a group named Sindecade and provides some of the most unusual & fun designs I've seen so far.

There are some skins and nails but what caught my eye was the AO and the house they sell. Sindecade's animation override is really cool but there is no real point in writing about it since animations should be seen not read about ^^. Let's just say it's so good I might even buy a set for myself.
Now the house named Silo S1 is a true work of art. An unusualy shaped, beautifully designed fun space-age loft with many accessories, scripted windows and an emergency escape shuttle. All this packed in 70 prims O_o. I'm afraid it's a must have. Not many houses reach up to this quality level.

Pay them a visit. You won't regret it: http://sindecade.blogspot.com

Japanmade Readymade

My timing is as bad as always.
It turns out there is this sort-of-festival named Readymade Japanmade where a whole bunch of awesome japanese shops make a special product for an exhibition. Of course I couldn't have got to know about it earlier. Sheesh. I've discovered it just yesterday and it's scheduled to end on the 24th of July.

Oh well. At least one good thing comes from it. I gathered a bunch of new landmarks. And I never never pass on an occasion to become friends with new (especially japanese) shops ^^. And so here we go - my guide to the most interesting Readymade Japanmade participants.

The first place I visited is named The Closert. It's a boutique with nice interior and pretty clothes which add colour and style to your everyday routine. Definitely not the best out there but still worth a visit.

Next is HPMD or Happy Mood. Now this is a unique shop. Set in a tree-made sphere with a beautiful fantasy environment inside they sell animals, toys and clothes. Don't know about the quality of the items but surely presentation-wise they know what they're doing.
SLurl: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/HappyMood/178/161/26

Just gorgeus. BP is one of those shops where products are not as much important as the place you buy them at. An abandoned woodhouse with vintage-styled kitchen, toyboxes scattered around, out-of-place clothes hung up on the walls and finally beavers on the window and the ladder. Truly unique.
SLurl: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Discovery/57/37/2016

And now pesca. Definitely one of my favourites. The shop itself is maybe not so sophisticated as some other are but the products, the clothes is what should be of interest to us. And those are very pretty. Just look at the birdbag produced for the festival. No avantgarde here. Instead we get pure beauty and a well crafted one. A must-visit shop, a little gem among oh so many clothing vendors.

Mikan hair is a small boutique with some nicely crafted hair. It won't appeal to everyone as the style is uncommon and quantity is low. Still a fine addition to the list and a nice place to hang out at.
SLurl: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Meet/158/96/23

Another one of my favourites. Izm is not about making money or doing business. It's about love for dressmaking and love for fashion. A small suite with some scattered furniture, an intented untideness and a vintage sewing machine in the corner. Overally a very nice place with very nice clothes and friendly prices.
SLurl: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/minaHeavens%20island/83/193/27

Atelier AM is about accessories. Fancy necklaces, feathered hair decorations and also shoes and some other stuff. It's merged with DEN-DOU which offers a few skins. A nice place but not really memorable.
SLurl: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/itutu/117/143/33

Ah yes. Love Soul. I didn't like the place itself. It's quite big and spacey but I had trouble finding what I want. It makes up in terms of variety. Nails & accessories, common & fancy. A good choice if you need such stuff and have time to browse the collection.
SLurl: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Love%20Soul/221/80/27

Bitter Vanilla stands for a little gallery of home-related stuff. You can buy a cooker here. You can buy bread here. You can have your whole kitchen decorated with a hint of vintage style.
SLurl: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/japan%20canvas/55/53/32

DownDownDown is one hell of a unique shop. Depressing, grotesque and surreal. Want some Tim Burton inspired stuff in your life? Visit DownDownDown. You won't be disappointed.
SLurl: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Osaka/223/21/35

Some of the best clothes I've seen in my life can be found in MNK. No fancy stylings and no over-the-top prices. Simple, cute and pretty. That's the three words you'll use when you visit. A sure must-have on any fashion shopping list.
SLurl: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/japan%20canvas/55/114/31

A definite winner in my personal ranking of Japanmade participants. Tomoto is all about stylish awesomeness. The place is ridiculously simple in design but still eye-catching and artistically pleasant. The clothes vary from gorgeus dresses and tunics to traditional yukatas with a modern fashion taste. And to top it all the shop features pure ambient music as a background. Just go there and see for yourself.
SLurl: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Meet/220/73/2930

And finally Hal*Hina. I've known this place for a while now and it never ceased to amaze me. Just imagine ridiculous amounts of premier quality shapes and skins complemented with nice hair and gorgeus clothes all of which cost less than you expect. That's what you'll find here in this spacious store which lets you even rest on a bench and enjoy the sea view. Go there and look for yourself. You won't regret it.

That's all for now. I hope I won't be the only one depriving myself of lindens after seeing these places. Tomoto, MNK and Hal*Hina are worth any money. Show the your linden love ^-^.
